On which base vehicle is the Concorde Cruiser Atego built?
The Concorde Cruiser Atego is available in three different layouts. The 890 RLA, the 950 LSA and the 950 LSRA. All models are based on the Mercedes Benz Atego with the chassis type 1230 L.
The Cruiser Atego is powered by a 299 hp 6-cylinder engine with a torque of 1200 Nm.
All models are 248 cm wide and 386 cm high. However, the length differs between the models. The 890 RLA is 898 cm long and the two models 950 LSA and 950 LSRA are 958 cm long.
The technically permissible total mass for each model is 11,990 kg. The mass when ready to drive is 8,505 kg for the CRUISER 890 RLA and 8,685 kg for the slightly longer models.
All three models have a payload of more than three tons.

Exterior
Despite the alcove structure, the look of the Concorde Cruiser Atego cannot be compared to classic alcove motorhomes. The straight front of the Atego results in a harmonious image of the front.
On both sides of the rear there are access hatches for the rear garage. Both flaps are 125 cm high and 115 cm wide.
The awning is integrated in the structure and fits perfectly into the structure both optically and aerodynamically.

Interior
The interior of the Concorde Cruiser Atego is more reminiscent of a small apartment than a mobile home.
The kitchen impresses with a sophisticated storage system with tailor-made equipment such as a three-burner stove, single-lever mixer, stainless steel sink, refrigerator, oven and microwave. A water system like at home, with pre-filter and high pressure.
Advantages: no flow reduction at branches, no pressure loss as with flexible hoses. Smooth inner walls prevent deposits for better water hygiene. Clean and practical.
The luxurious bathroom with shower, toilet and a spacious vanity with storage space invites you to devote yourself to personal hygiene. The selectable underfloor heating completes the all-round feeling of well-being.
The alcove area is certainly the most popular place for children in the motorhome. But adults can also feel at home in the Cruiser Atego. Thanks to an interior height of 70 cm, there is sufficient headroom. All beds have comfortable Concorde mattresses. The optionally available underfloor heating ensures a warm interior climate if you have to get out of bed at night.

Fazit
The Concorde Cruiser Atego is certainly not a motorhome for everyone. On the one hand you have to be able to afford the motorhome and on the other hand you have to have the appropriate driver's license.
However, if these points do not pose a challenge, then the Concorde Cruiser Atego impresses with its luxurious equipment, very large amount of space and many practical details.
