Perhaps the concept of the Affinity M was born out of the delivery problems at Fiat. Because this Affinity is based on the MAN TGE and is the first Affinity that is less than 6 meters long.

Whatever the reason, campers who prefer compact, shorter-length vehicles will love the Affinty M.

The body modifications that have been carried out underline the unique character of this motorhome. By lengthening the rear and widening the side panels, a French bed and bathroom could be installed in the rear of the vehicle.

Despite the small size of the vehicle, the interior layout gives a feeling of spaciousness that is otherwise only found in larger motorhomes.

On which base vehicle is the Affinity M built?

The Affinity M is based on a MAN TGE with a 2.0 liter diesel engine with 177 hp and an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Dimensions and weights of the Affinity M

The Affinity M is 612 cm long, 219 cm wide (without mirror) and 250 cm high. The headroom in the interior is 192 cm.

The permissible total mass of the vehicle is 3,500 kg, the mass in running order is specified as 3,080 kg, which corresponds to a payload of 420 kg.

Exterior

The Affinity M looks very bulky due to the extensions at the rear. The access door for the fresh water tank and the connection for the shore power are on the driver's side.

The rear was lengthened by 30 cm when the bodywork was modified.

The hatch for the trunk and the cassette toilet is also located at the rear.

Interior

The distribution of the available space has been designed in such a way that all the necessary equipment can be accommodated and the use of the camper is as comfortable as possible. The Affinity M offers four seat belts and sleeping accommodation for a maximum of three people.

The M has a new color concept. Simple, linear upper cabinets and subtle lighting. This gives the interior an atmosphere of calm and relaxation. This makes the interior appear visually larger and brighter.

The Affinity M Camper Van has a fly screen on the sliding door as standard.

In the spacious interior of the mobile home you will find numerous compartments and cupboards, which offer plenty of storage space.

The control panels for the camper van's technical equipment are easily accessible.

A compact bathroom with a folding washbasin allows convenient use of the sanitary area.

Access to the toilet cassette and the outdoor shower is possible by opening the tailgate.

The French bed has the dimensions 192 x 124 cm and the additional bed, which can be set up in the dinette in just a few simple steps, is 176 long and 62 cm wide.

Conclusion

The Affinity M satisfies customer requests for a more compact version of the Affinity Van on Fiat Ducato. Due to the smaller dimensions, the interior is of course a bit smaller compared to its big brother, the Affinity Van. But the feeling of space is still convincing.
