Introduction
Concorde Reisemobile GmbH, based in Schlüsselfeld-Aschbach, was founded in 1981 by Helmut Reimann. Over the decades, the company has developed into one of the largest premium motorhome manufacturers in Europe.
History, development and expansion of Concorde Reisemobile
When Helmut Reimann founded the company, he acquired a plant from Tabbert GmbH in which plastic parts and supplier parts were produced. In 1983 the company started to produce motorhomes.
The increasing demand for motorhomes meant that Reimann gave up the production of caravans and only devoted himself to the construction of motorhomes.
The company developed rapidly. A company expansion became necessary in 1988.
In 1994 the Caravan Salon took place in Düsseldorf for the first time. There Concorde presented an alcove model and a van extension.
The first integrated motorhome, the Charisma, was introduced in 1997. In this year, the founder withdrew from day-to-day business. Unfortunately, the founder died in a tragic accident in 2004. Concorde Reisemobile GmbH was founded in the same year.
In the years that followed, Concorde continued to expand its market share in the mobile home sector through constant new developments and innovative solutions.
In 2013, Joachim Baumgartner, who had previously been the plant manager, was appointed managing director.
At the CMT trade fair in Stuttgart, the new high-end flagship, the Concorde CENTURION, was presented as the largest Concorde motorhome of all time.
In the years that followed, Concorde Reisemobile GmbH established itself as one of the leading companies in the motorhome industry for luxury liners with more than 40 years of experience and numerous innovative milestones.
