Exterior

The structure offers several compartments and flaps that reach into the double floor and are therefore also heated. The flap for the gas compartment with space for 2 x 11 kg bottles is located on the driver's side. The access flap for toilet emptying is on the passenger side.

The windows in the structure are Seitz S4 framed windows with double frames that are free of thermal bridges. Fly screen blinds and blackout blinds are already included with the Seitz windows.

The body door has a passage dimension of 63 cm and a safety double lock.

Interior

The living area offers a large L-shaped lounge seating group, which can be expanded with the rotating driver and front passenger seats. A swiveling shoe cabinet is integrated into the seating area.

If no fold-down bed is installed, overhead storage cupboards with plenty of storage space are located above the living area.

Behind the living area is the L-shaped kitchen. A three-flame Dometic gas cooker and a sink are integrated into the worktop.

In the body of the kitchen there are several drawers for storing kitchen utensils. There are also overhead cupboards with an integrated espresso machine above the kitchen.

Opposite the kitchen block is a 153 liter refrigerator from Dometic. Above that, separate from the fridge, is a large freezer compartment.

The large bathroom is in the middle of the vehicle. The toilet door can be used to separate the rear of the motorhome from the living area.

In the toilet room there is a toilet, a sink and plenty of storage compartments for storing bathroom utensils. A separate shower with a headroom of 198 cm is located opposite the toilet room.

The twin beds are attached to the bathroom. The foot ends can be folded up and thus provide access to the wall cupboards. There are several overhead lockers almost all around the bed area. The single beds can be converted into a large lying surface by inserting an additional mattress.

With a length of 745 cm, the Malibu T 490 LE is certainly not one of the most compact motorhomes. However, panel van motorhomes with bike racks on the rear are not much shorter. The dynamic roof hood gives the semi-integrated vehicle a sporty look.

The interior offers plenty of space and storage options. The ambience is inviting and of high quality. The double floor offers plenty of additional storage space. All in all a successful mobile home.
