RV park in Wolfhagen

The pitch is located in the Bruchwiesen Park and Recreation Area, which lies below Wolfhag's Old Town. The site offers all the amenities of modern caravanning and is open all year round. It has 45 gravel and grass pitches and dogs are welcome. The pitch fee is €12 per vehicle per 24 hours and can be paid at a parking ticket machine on site.

Numerous shopping facilities, supermarkets, banks and restaurants can be found in the immediate vicinity. The parking lot offers peace and quiet and is the starting point for beautiful walks or bike rides in the Wolfhager surroundings or a visit to the outdoor pool, cinema or museum.

The Bruchwiesen with the Mühlenbach used to be a swamp and sour grass meadow. Clay and loam were mined here from 1640 for the Wolfhager brickworks. After mining ceased, the area was transformed into a park with an open-air area for events. In September 2003, the "Wohnmobilstellplatz Bruchwiesen" with a barbecue hut and fireplace was inaugurated here and expanded in 2013, 2018 and 2022.

Electricity can be obtained at coin-operated power columns for 1,- € per 6 hours or 1,- € per 1,5 kw/h. Fresh water is available year-round and costs €1 per 80 liters or €0.10 per 8 liters. There is a bread delivery service and a barbecue hut with barbecue area, which can be rented from the groundskeeper.

Two sanitary rooms with shower and toilet are available between April and October and can also be rented from the groundsman. Free Wi-Fi on the pitch is available and the access code is provided on the parking ticket. A free e-bike charging station at the pitch as well as a free chemical toilet disposal and a disposal shaft for gray water are also available. Gas cylinder exchange is available at the address at the barbecue hut.

In addition to the many amenities of the RV park Wolfhagen, the surrounding area also offers numerous tourist attractions and sights. The historic city center with the city church and the market square with the fairy tale fountain are an absolute must for every visitor. Here you can not only enjoy the picturesque old town, but also visit local stores and restaurants.

Every Saturday from 11 am there are free guided tours of the town from April to October, which start directly from the barbecue area of the camper site. These offer an interesting insight into the history of the town and its sights.

For hiking enthusiasts, there is the certified quality hiking trail Habichtswaldsteig and the extra tour H7. Both offer spectacular views of the surrounding forests and valleys and are a great way to explore nature. For cyclists, there are also numerous well-signposted bike paths and circular routes that lead through the picturesque landscape.

Near the RV park is also the Wolfhager Erlebnisbad, which is open from April to October.

For the adventurous, there is the possibility of motor and gliding on the Graner Berg, where you can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding area. Culture enthusiasts can look forward to local events and town festivals that take place throughout the year.

Another highlight in the area is the Glockenborn Nature Reserve, which offers a glimpse of the region's unique flora and fauna. For those interested in history, there is also the Wolfhager Land Regional Museum, which is dedicated to the history and culture of the region.
